Pork Butt on the Smoker
Ahh, the first pulled pork of the season has arrived and all is well with the world!
The butt was rubbed and on the smoker first thing yesterday morning:
12 1/2 hours later, it was perfect:
For dinner, we feasted on pulled pork tacos:
Rub and cooking technique were pretty much what we've done before. You can find more info about that in our Smoked Pork Butt post from a few years back.

ReplyDeleteah! there is nothing better....12.5 hours, i dont think i could wait that long, i would want to dive in and eat it up. The bark looks great on that pork butt.

ReplyDeleteah Mike my mouth waters at teh prospect, and my Big Green Egg calls and maybe just maybe, spring sunshine will beat out the rain this weekend, and porky goodness will reign on the BGE :)
