Pulled Pork Grilled Pizza

Pulled Pork Pizza

We recently added another use to our growing list of ways to use leftover pulled pork. We took some leftover pulled pork, mixed it with barbecue sauce and tossed on a pizza with some red onion, chopped cilantro and mozzarella.

A few minutes on the grill and we had a very tasty pulled pork pizza.

We do all of our pizza on an outdoor grill these days. I think it is the best way to cook pizza if you don't have your own brick pizza oven. For more information on grilling pizza, there is a detailed explanation in our post on Prosciutto and Arugula Grilled Pizza.

  2. Hi Sawyer - although we have a pretty strong "make it from scratch" bent, I will admit that we don't make our own pizza crust. We use the baggies of pizza dough that Trader Joe's sells. It makes really good grilled flatbread as well.

  4. Hi Rayrena - it was nice to meet you the other day! I don't remember exactly what beer we had with the pizza, but if I had to guess, I'd say Racer 5.

  5. It was nice meeting you guys also! I love that you can't remember what beer you had :) I just ordered 1/4 of a hog from Da-Le Ranch so I'm looking forward to cooking it up and this pizza looks like a great use for pork!

  6. Ray - I am intrigued by your 1/4 hog order: we would love to do that as well. I saw your chowhound post that mentioned Da-Le Ranch at the Little Italy farmers market. I searched for them, and think I found them, but they don't mention pork...

  7. I love pulled pork and I love pizza. Pizza is a sick weekness with me. This is a combo worth considering.
